Modelling a 3D Orange

0010.jpgToday we’ll create a 3d orange.
We’ll use 3ds max NURBS tool for the shape of orange

then apply  material with noise bump.

01.Draw a left profile of an orange using NURBS point curve in front view port.

02.Apply NURBS lathe command and Align—max.

03.Then you’ll get an orange shape.

04.Select surface sub object level, then click on orange shape.

05.Click on make independent button then detach the surface.

06.Now you get an orange shape, maximize perspective view port, name it orange.

07.Open material editor by pressing ‘m’. Select an empty slot.Change the Ambient and diffuse color to orange color (253,156,2).

08.Change specular level=83,Glossiness=42, specular color yellow (254,236,138)

09.Expand map button, apply noise to the bump slot.

10. Adjust the noise parameter,size=2 then apply the material to orange shape.

11.Then quick render the scene using shift+q or F9 command.
